WP ready to face Sharks
WP are ready to takeover the Shark tank according to coach Allister Coetzee.
CAPE TOWN - Western Province coach Allister Coetzee is laying the praise on his players ahead of their Currie Cup final against the Sharks at the weekend.
Province pulled off a last gasp win over the Lions in Johannesburg, while the Sharks thrashed the Bulls at the weekend.
The Cape side will travel to the 'Shark Tank' for the final on Saturday.
While their U21 and U19 sides are in the ABSA finals.
Coetzee said it was all in the preparation.
"We back ourselves. We'll get the preparation spot on, stick to our guns and stick to the plan."
Coetzee believes the union is in a good state after three of their teams made the finals this season.
He said everybody was on the same page.
"There's that connectedness from the institute, right up to me as a senior professional coach. The defence should be just as strong in the U19's."
He said the passion has increased in all facets.
"For once, I think we have a lot of passion, we have the best support in the franchise. Because we're so passionate you can see that all arrows are pointing in the right direction."
