Province to play as a team - Coetzee
Western Province will face the Lions without Jean De Villiers after he sustained an injury.
CAPE TOWN - Western Province coach Allister Coetzee says they need to be more rounded against a highly clinical Lions team.
Province is in Johannesburg for evening's Currie Cup semi final against the defending champions.
Coetzee says they need to be excellent in all facets of the game to stand a chance of winning.
"It's important for us to play well as a team and not worry too much about the results. We're just need to focus on our game plan."
Province captain Deon Fourie says the injury to Jean de Villiers isn't that big of a setback for them.
De Villiers injured his hamstring earlier this week - ruling him out for the remainder of the Currie Cup.
But Fourie says they're an experienced bunch, even without de Villiers.
"I think he brings a lot of stability, leadership and experience to the team, but we still have a couple of Springboks that can make a big difference."
Kickoff is at 7pm.
