Limpopo police investigates court fire
Police are trying to find out what led to the Polokwane Magistrates Court catching fire.
JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo police are investigating whether foul play is behind a fire that destroyed most case dockets at the Polokwane Magistrates Court.
The building went up in flames on Friday and fire fighters spent most of the day trying to quell the blaze.
The police's Ronel Otto says, "They will try and locate the exact spot where the fire started. They will then investigate whether it was started maliciously or it was an accident."
Meanwhile, the Justice Department says it will be able to recreate the documents which were destroyed.
