Expectations high for Springbok clash
There are a lot of expectations ahead of the Springboks and Wallabies game at Loftus.
JOHANNESBURG - Many rugby fans are expecting a very open game on Saturday between South Africa and Australia with both teams looking to run the ball.
That should be assisted by Johan Goosen playing as first receiver for the Boks.
Vice captain Adriaan Strauss said one could not discount the value of slowing the game down.
"We first have to see what we're up against and then we'll decide."
Willem Alberts, not your traditional fetcher in the loose forward sense, said despite rule changes over the years, there is still room for a fetcher to excel.
"The old school fetchers are not as effective as they used to be, but we can still get good rewards from having somebody like Francois Louw."
The game will take place at Loftus Stadium.
Kickoff is at 5pm.
