JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said on Sunday millions of rands were still missing in the Postbank heist case.

Earlier in 2012 several gang members cloned the Postbank IT systems and made numerous withdrawals around the country.

This week, assets amounting to about R200,000 were seized from the gang's alleged kingpin, Kabelo Kekana, in Midrand.

However, NPA spokesperson Vuyisile Calaza, said these asset seizures are just a small victory.

“Considering the actual loss suffered by Postbank which is around R30 million, the assets that we managed to seize are only a drop in the ocean.”
