Malema issued with arrest warrant - report
Both the Hawks and NPA declined to confirm the alleged arrest warrant.
JOHANNESBURG - An arrest warrant has been issued for former ANC Youth League (ANCYL) leader Julius Malema, the City Press revealed on Friday.
According to the report, Malema is expected to appear in a Pretoria or Polokwane court next week on charges of money laundering, corruption and fraud.
Both the Hawks and National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) declined to confirm the alleged arrest warrant.
The case relates to his Ratanang Family Trust and its involvement in an engineering company, which made millions from Limpopo government tenders.
Malema maintains his innocence and says he is ready to have his day in court.
