JOHANNESBURG - Gordon Igesund got his first win as Bafana Bafana coach on Tuesday night against Mozambique at the Mbombela Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker scored in each half to secure the 2-0 victory in the international friendly.

Igesund said the result was not a true reflection of the game but he is still pleased that the team is finding the back of the net.

"We could have in actual fact scored a few more goals in the first half. However, a win is very important."

Igesund's first game was against Brazil last week. They lost by a goal to nil.
