CAPE TOWN - Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer on Monday said Francois Louw will bring some much needed experience to his lose trio.

Louw makes a return to the Boks and could be playing alongside his former Stormers teammates Andries Bekker and Duane Vermeulen in their match against Australia at the weekend.

Meyer said Louw will be an asset to the Bok side.

"He's an experienced player. I think he'll also play a part as a leader among the young guys."

Meyer said Louw is what he is looking for .

"We'll assess him when he gets here but I'm very happy to have him. Following the injuries of the senior players, I think he has a huge role to play in the squad."

Meyer said Louw's inclusion would give him the option of having a specialist open-side flank.

Meanwhile, Louw is confident they can overcome the Wallabies.

"There's definitely no sense of panic at all. We'll try and fix the mistakes from the previous game."

The test match will take place in Perth on Saturday.
