Bafana ready for Brazil
Gordan Igesund says his team will go to Brazil and do their best.
CAPE TOWN - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund said on Thursday they will not park the bus against Brazil in Sao Poulo next week Friday.
Igesund named seven new faces in his first 25 player squad.
Experienced campaigners like Teko Modise, Andile Jali and Katlego Mphela have not been included, however the coach said the door is still open.
Igesund said with the right motivation his players' can put up a great performance in Brazil.
"We never go into a game to lose. I think we need to restore player confidence. I believe we have players as good as any other players in the world. All we have to do is start believing in ourselves and stop this pulling down syndrome."
Igesund said his side will play open football against Brazil.
"I also don't think we should be intimidated in any way and feel as though we're inferior to them. We're not inferior to them. The players will enjoy themselves and they'll be in the right frame of mind."
