PRETORIA - Officials are looking for a man following Thursday's massive drug bust in Wespark, Pretoria.

Crime Intelligence officials and the Hawks raided a home, where they seized millions of rand worth of tik and chemicals used to manufacture it.

Police spokesperson Vish Naidoo said the quiet demeanor of the Wespark suburb hid a substantial drug manufacturing operation.

"The kitchen was used for manufacturing the drugs. Some rooms were completely damaged by the fumes [released during the manufacturing process]."

Homeowner Tazz Omar McConnach said there was no reason to suspect problems with her tenant.

"He is a pastor and he always paid his rent on time. We did a house check about a year ago and everything looked fine."

Police said they were following up a lead and hope to arrest the suspect soon.
