CAPE TOWN - Stormers back-line coach Robbie Fleck on Thursday refused to be drawn on whether they would be looking at signing any of the Lions back-line players.

Earlier this week, coach Allister Coetzee did not rule out the possibility of some of the Lions players coming to the Cape after the Johannesburg franchise were relegated from Super Rugby.

The two teams meet at Coca-Cola Park in Currie Cup on Saturday.

Fleck said signing players is not his job.

"We're always looking to strengthen our squad, whether that's from the Lions or elsewhere. The coach and the MD are in charge of buying players not me. Currently, we are just working with our guys to get them ready for Super 15 next year."

Some good news for the Lions is the return of Elton Jantjies from the Springbok team.

Fleck said he is not the only dangerous player in the back-line.

"It brings in another kicker along with Butch James. They can split the field up so that will work to their advantage."

The kickoff is 5:05pm.
