PRETORIA - Boeremag accused Mike du Toit was identified as a leading member of the right-wing group's inner circle in the North Gauteng High Court on Wednesday.

Judge Eben Jordaan continued summarising evidence on day three of his judgment.

The 20 men are accused of numerous charges including high treason, terrorism and murder.

According to Jordaan, state witnesses identified du Toit as the leader and the men who made tactical decisions.

He held numerous meetings with the co-accused and state witnesses, where plan were discussed.

The Boeremag plotted to seize military bases and use arms to chase black people out of the country.

The court heard group members with hunting rifles would surround air force bases and shoot at any pilots as they scrambled to their jets.

Jordaan will continue handing down his ruling on Thursday.
