Learner stabbed to death by classmate
A 19-year-old Bellville South boy was stabbed to death on Monday allegedly over a classroom quarrel.
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are investigating a case of murder after a Bellville South learner who was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow pupil.
The incident took place as the 19-year-old Kasselsvlei High School learner was on his way home on Monday.
It is understood an argument in the classroom may have been the motive, which police believe involved a knife.
The grade 11 learner died on the scene.
The police's November Filander said no arrests have yet been made.
"We believe the stabbing is a result of a quarrel that started in the classroom."
