Daniel Radcliffe does not mind that to some he will always be seen as Harry Potter.
NEW YORK - Daniel Radcliffe told Eyewitness News he hopes to someday fulfill his dream of becoming a director.

He says he does not mind that to some he will always be seen as Harry Potter.
"I don't want to disassociate myself from Harry Potter. It was the best thing of my life.
"It gave me everything.
"When people say, 'you want to get away from that', I say 'no'."
He wants to show his versatility.
"I'm in a very fortunate position, where I can chose a job based on the director or the script and the part.
Radcliffe says his goal is to eventually direct.
