CAPE TOWN - The city is pulling out all the stops ahead of this highly anticipated soccer clash.

An estimated 55, 000 fans will descend on Cape Town stadium on Saturday afternoon, when Ajax Cape Town take on Manchester United.

The popular fanwalk down Somerset Road will be activated, which will include the park and ride facilities and the MyCiti bus service.

The city's Grant Pascoe said Somerset Road will still be open to traffic.

"The fanwalk is going to be an opportunity for people to experience the world cup fever again. We aren't activating the full fanwalk, we're doing half of the fanwalk, so we're just closing once section of the road and leaving the other carriage way open."

"There will be a lot of entertainment to get the crowd going. We're advising parents to park in town and experience the fanwalk with their kids."
