Proteas ready for England
Proteas batsman Jacques Rudolph says they are 100 percent ready and prepared to take on England.
CAPE TOWN - South Africa is 100 percent ready and prepared to face England, Proteas batsman Jacques Rudolph said on Monday.
The first test match gets underway at The Oval on Thursday.
Rudolph, who played for county side Yorkshire, is familiar with conditions up north.
He said he knows what to expect.
"You need a good game plan in terms of the way you construct your innings. You have to be patient and play the ball later."
Rudolph said the weather will play a key role in the outcome of the match.
"I think it's going to be interesting."
The South African side has slipped to third place in ICC world rankings.
