JOHANNESBURG - The MTN Lions have promised not to do the Vodacom Bulls any favours when the two sides clash in the Jukskei Derby at Loftus on Saturday.

The Bulls are fifth on the overall Supe Rugby log and will feature in the finals series if they can get five points against the Johannesburg side.

Lions captain Josh Strauss says they are ready to counter a Bulls onslaught.

"They are little bit of a desperate team at the moment and it's very dangerous playing against a team like that. They're going to be very physical and hopefully we can counter that."

The Lions are bottom on the log after winning only three games.

Kickoff is at 7:10pm.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs, the current Super Rugby leaders, lost to the Hurricanes 25-28 in New Zealand.
