Boucher replacement to be annouced
Mark Boucher suffered an eye injury on Monday night putting an end his chances to tour England with his team.
CAPE TOWN - The chairman of selectors for the South African team Andrew Hudson told EWN Sport on Monday that a replacement for Mark Boucher will soon be named for the tour of England.
Boucher suffered an eye injury on Monday night.
The injury has subsequently ruled him out to play and possibly signalled the end of his Test career.
"I've got to get around to the selectors, obviously in terms of getting round of who the replacement might be," said Hudson.
They are expected to have a name soon which he said will be released to the media.
Hudson paid tribute to the injured star saying that this loss is a major one to the Proteas.
"I think it's a massive blow for South Africa and also for Mark.
"I think first and foremost comes his recovery. Damage to an eye and the extent to it - it's important we get to the bottom of that and determine how he is."
