CAPE TOWN - Stormers captain Jean de Villiers on Thursday said they knew exactly what to expect from the Cheetahs on Saturday.

The Stormers travel to Bloemfontein, where the last meeting turned out to be an eight-try thriller.

That match was also the last match in which the Stormers conceded four tries in one outing.

De Villiers said they know the Cheetahs are going to run at them.

"I think we know what to expect. We'll just concentrate on what we want to achieve out of this game and we are prepared to face anything."

De Villiers said they need to start well against Cheetahs, who are notorious for finishing games well.

"If we can get start that the Bulls got last week then I reckon we'll be happy."

Stormers backline coach Rob Fleck predicted all out attacking rugby from the Cheetahs.

"It's pretty clear they are going to throw the ball around a bit and try and test our defence once again. Our defence is the best in the competition and we need to back it. We'll stick to our structures that have got us second on the log."

The Cheetahs are currently number 10 in the Super Rugby log.

Kickoff is at 3pm.
