Gang violence on the increase
At least 13 children have become innocent victims of gang rival bullets in the past four months.
CAPE TOWN - At least 13 children have become innocent victims of gangster's bullets in Cape Town over the past four months.
It appears gangs are showing no signs of stopping.
Last week, a three-year-old girl survived being shot six times in Hanover Park.
On Wednesday, eight-year-old Junaid Mackenzie was shot in the head after being caught in crossfire between rival gangs.
And on Thursday evening, the body of a man was found in a car, riddled with bullets.
The police's Frederick van Wyk said the motive remains unclear.
"The vehicle was left standing at a set of traffic lights in Grassy Park with the 35-year-old male in the passenger seat."
