JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng government on Saturday said it hoped a new bus system due to be launched in 2013 would attract tourist to Johannesburg.
The Tourism Department said the "hop on hop off bus" will be link to existing transport modes including the Gautrain and the Bus Rapid Transit System.
The department said the project would allow people to see places of interest in the Johannesburg central business district.
The service will run between Constitution Hill through the central business district and all the way to Soweto.
The department's Barba Gaoganediwe said, "The bus will be affordable."
