JOHANNESBURG - At least 35 school children are being treated after an accident involving two taxis on Monday.

The children were on their way to school when the accident occurred in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg.

Paramedics said the two drivers were also injured.

The injured learners were taken to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto and the Leratong Hospital in Kagiso.

The spokesperson for the Soweto hospital, Nkosiyethu Mazibuko, said the six children taken there were still being examined by doctors.
