CAPE TOWN - Brown's Farm residents have dispersed after a service delivery protest in Phillipi on Monday.

Some 200 locals demonstrated on Duinefontein and Landsdowne roads blocking traffic.

While the protesters have dispersed, some promised to continue until their concerns are addressed.

Speaking to Eyewitness News , one resident said she could no longer wait for basic services like electricity.

She said residents will continue to cause chaos until government delivered basic services.

She blamed the lack of service delivery on political infighting.
