JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) admitted on Saturday, that its anti-corruption hotline is not working.

There have been some technical difficulties in the past few days, making it impossible for whistle-blowers to get through.

Wayne Minnaar, spokesperson for the JMPD, said the department called in technical experts to look into the problem.

He could not confirm when the hotline would operate efficiently again, but said experts hope to rectify the faulty line soon.
