JOHANNESBURG - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens on Wednesday said players were doing all they could to win the Nedbank Cup final this weekend.

Sundowns face Pretoria rivals SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides have been without silverware in the past two seasons.

Neeskens said he respects SuperSport, but need to win the Cup.

"I think reaching the final is a big achievement. We are going to our best on Saturday. SuperSport is a good team so we have to be well prepared."

Neeskens said it's a must for his side to end their trophy drought.

"I think it is always important to win silverware. We want to win this competition."

The winner will take home R6 million.

Sundowns finished fourth in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), despite topping the table at the start of the season.
