Bucs looks for permanent coach
Orlando Pirates is considering its options on securing a permanent coach for the team
JOHANNESBURG - Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza on Monday said it is not a foregone conclusion that Augusto Palacios will be given the coaching job permanently.
Palacios guided Pirates to their second consecutive league title after he took over from Julio Leal on an interim basis.
The Buccaneers' players and fans called on the club management to retain the Peruvian in the coaching job.
Khoza said the club will still make a decision on a coach.
"We will do our best in the interest of Orlando Pirates to come with somebody who will help us to achieve [more wins] and excite the fans."
Khoza said they are looking for a man with a strong character because coaching the football club is not easy.
