Madonsela yet to release WC tender report
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela is yet to release her findings into the TBWA Hunt Lascaris probe.
CAPE TOWN - Public Protector Thuli Madonsela said she is yet to announce any findings in her investigation into a communication tender between the Western Cape Government and TBWA Hunt Lascaris.
According to the City Press, the public protector's office has released a provisional report declaring the contract invalid.
The deal is estimated to be worth more than R50 million.
In April, the Western Cape ANC accused Madonsela of dragging her feet in investigating the tender.
Speaking to Eyewitness News , she said her office will soon make its findings public.
"I haven't made any findings. I never make any findings until I do a final report. I will have a final report on May 31."
