School children injured in car crash

Three school children were injured in a collision near Delft.

CAPE TOWN - Three school children were injured, two of them critically, in a collision in Delft on Monday afternoon.

This after their school minibus taxi collided with a car.

The girls, aged between five and seven, have been hospitalised.

Emergency Services spokesperson Keri Davids said, "Two of them sustained serious head injuries. All three kids were transported to the Red Cross Children's Hospital."

Two men, who were also injured in the accident, sustained bruises and were transported to Tygerberg Hospital.
