Afcon won't happen in JHB or CT

Initally scheduled to be held in Libya, Afcon will be held at stadiums around South Africa.

Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban will host Afcon matches.

JOHANNESBURG - Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula announced on Friday that while South Africa will be hosting the 2013 African Cup of Nations (Afcon), Johannesburg and Cape Town are not poised to host any of the matches.

Cabinet officially confirmed that South Africa will host the tournament on Friday.

Mbalula announced that Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Rustenberg will be host cities next year.

The tournament was initially scheduled to be hosted by Libya but was moved due to concern over the country's stability.
