JOHANNESBURG - Title contenders Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday said they will not underestimate Kaizer Chiefs.

The Soweto giants suffered four back-to-back losses in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

On Saturday, fans hurled insults at Amakhosi players and officials after their 2-1 loss to SuperSport United.

Sundowns were overtaken at the top of the PSL table when Orlando Pirates beat SuperSport on Tuesday to secure the top spot.

Sundowns' Kabelo Mosito said his side needs to focus and treat Chiefs with respect.

"We have to make sure that we focus and concentrate."

Mosito said Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens made it clear to his players that a win is non-negotiable.

"We want to reclaim our top spot. We will fight with everything we have."
