Western Cape ANC leadership on Tuesday asked the Public Protector to speed up its inquiry into the Provincial Government's communication tender.
The tender which was awarded to TBWA Hunt Lascaris is estimated at more than R50 million.
The ANC claimed there was a conflict of interest and officials ignored numerous contradictions and anomalies in awarding the tender
ANC Provincial secretary Songezo Mjongile said the Public Protector was dragging her feet.
"The PEC expressed outrage at the failure of the Public Protector to urgently deal with allegations of corruption against the DA government, the same way it deals with the ANC government."
Mjongile said things should be speeded up.
"The provisional report by the Public Protector should have been handled in a transparent manner. The delays are unwarranted and the Public Protector must make the report available."
