The Youth League says it's not worried about the ANC's briefing on the young lions ill-discipline.

JOHANNESBURG - Suspended ANC Youth League (ANCYL) spokesperson Floyd Shivambu said the Young Lions are not worried about the ruling party's media briefing.

ANC officials will address the media on Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking on the Redi Tlhabi Show, Shivambu defended the timing of his public comments about the dropped corruption charges levelled against President Jacob Zuma.

It was reported that Zuma could use the briefing to speak about the ANCYL's ill-discipline.

On Friday, embattled ANCYL leader Julius Malema attacked Zuma by calling him a dictator during an address at Wits University in Johannesburg.

Shivambu said they have no idea what will be discussed.

"I am not aware of what they're going to speak about. I'm not nervous."

He denied they were speaking out about Zuma's corruption charges in order to further their own political agenda.
