Cape Town International Jazz Festival organisers on Monday said they have already started planning for 2013.
The festival took place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre at the weekend.
The crowd was entertained by the likes of James Ingram, Lauryn Hill, Hugh Masekela, Zahara and Patty Austin.
Production director Billy Domingo said the festival is not about making money.
"Generally, I don't think we've ever made profit that spans out like the U2 concert. We charge less to accommodate our different audience."
The festival first started in 2000 and has grown ever since.
Every year, over 30 international and local acts take part in the event.
