Defending Nedbank Cup champions Orlando Pirates would be facing little known Ethekwini Coastal FC in the opening round of the tournament in the coming weeks.

The draw for the last 32 took place in Johannesburg on Monday which featured 16 Premier Soccer League teams and 16 teams from the National First Division and amateur ranks.

Amongst other ties, the draw would see Kaizer Chiefs hosting Cape Town All Stars, Powerlines FC taking on Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu playing Ajax Cape Town.

Pirates coach Julio Leal said his side would not underestimate their less-fancied opponents.

"We will treat this game with severity and important competition."

Leal said he was aware of how small teams have caused upsets in the past and would not leave anything to chance.
