Ajax Cape Town coach Maarten Stekelenburg on Friday said his team needs a 90 minute performance to beat Free State Stars at Athlone Stadium on Sunday.
The Urban Warriors have been struggling with consistency throughout a match.
Stekelenburg said they need to improve on little things.
"We lose a lot of silly balls in the final third [close to goals] so our build up and midfield is quite good. We just need to improve our forwards," he said.
Stekelenburg added their lack of experience is also a factor.
"A player like Brent Carelse, will bring experience in the squad. Thembinkosi Fanteni also has a lot of experience. You can see that when he is doing things, but we also need to improve our young players."
