Springbok fans who have travelled to Wellington to see their team take part in the 2011 Rugby World Cup are quite confident that South Africa would beat Australia in the quarter-finals.

The Boks face their long time rivals on Sunday at the Wellington Regional Stadium.

Some fans said the Boks are going to the semi-finals.

"We obviously think that the Springboks are going to take Australia. I don't think it's going to be easy," one supporter said.

Another agreed, "I think we should come out top compared to the Australians."

Another fan, "I think our chances are really good otherwise we wouldn't have come out here."

These fans said the wet weather may also play a role.

"The weather is quite cold for them so we'll see what happens at the end of the day," he said.

Another Bok fan said, "I think the weather conditions are going to play a part. We hear it's going to clear up on Sunday."
