The quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup have been decided after Ireland beat Italy 36-6 in the final Pool match.
That means the Irish top Pool C ahead of Australia and avoid a clash against the Springboks.
The Springboks arrive in Wellington on Monday where they face Pool C runners up Australia next Sunday.
That fixture was sealed after Ireland prevented Italy from getting into the quarter finals with an emphatic win to make it four out of four and win a world cup pool for the first time ever.
They will face pool D runners up Wales in the first quarter final in Wellington on Saturday.
The other quarter finals are unbeaten Group B winners, England against Pool A runners up France in Auckland and hosts New Zealand against Argentina who came second in pool D.
