Western Province coach Allister Coetzee on Friday said they have to be accurate against the Sharks if they want to win on Saturday.

Province travels to Durban for the game.

The Sharks got a narrow 21-19 win over Province in their first meeting in August.

Coetzee said they must avoid giving away penalties because Frédéric Michalak will punish them.

"I think it's important that we are very accurate in terms of not giving away penalties. [Frédéric] Michalak can kick from anywhere on the field, we've got to be very disciplined. It's like a final for us this weekend. We've got to make sure that we respect the ball and don't turn it over a lot," he said.

Coetzee added they also need to play a complete game.

"We have to improve on our start and keep playing like we've been playing throughout the game. I think that will help a lot."
