South African Netball captain Amanda Mynhardt has admitted they do not know much about Northern Ireland, but they will not underestimate them.

The Proteas lost their quarter-final game 58-28 against New Zealand at the World Championships in Singapore on Friday.

They will face Northern Ireland in their fifth place playoff on Saturday.

Mynhardt said Northern Ireland are enjoying some good form.

"I think Northern Ireland is also a side doing well... I think it's the first time they've gone through to the quarter-finals today (Friday), so we'll definitely not underestimate them," she said.

Mynhardt added they will dissect their opponents later.

"We'll go back tonight and do our analysis on them. I think it will be a good game, I haven't seen much of them but tonight we'll get our heads together…"
