SA Rugby CEO Jurie Roux on Friday said the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) has accepted their assessment of their injured Springboks.

The Boks will be missing their stars for the Tri-Nations with 21 unavailable due to injury.

A 27-man squad was named for the tournament on Friday afternoon.

Roux said they complied with ARU's request.

"Subsequently I did get a query from (Sanzar CEO) Greg Peters in that regard, provided him with the list of injured players and the medical assessment - obviously not the detail, that's our information and that's privileged information… They were happy with that," he said.

Roux said there is nothing untoward about the injury situation.

"We're more than happy that what we have on the table at the moment was a proper process and that we've followed due process. We've been open and honest in it. We've got a professional team and the professional judgement from our medical staff is that these players are not fit to play," he added.
