Cape Town Tourism and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company said they are pulling out all the stops to propel Table Mountain onto the list of 7 Wonders of Nature.

In its latest attempt to spread the word about the iconic landmark they are trying to get Europeans to vote for Table Mountain.

The German national airlines Lufthansa's new Airbus A-380 conducted a low fly-over over Cape Town on Tuesday as part of the campaign.

The company's Fiona Furey said this is a perfect way to promote the mountain to the rest of the world.

"Germany has the Black Forest which is our competition, so it is a nice kind of friendly rivalry…," she said.

Furey said they are also trying to get the youth on board to spread the word.

"Getting schools to register as activists…so all the kids will go home and get as many votes as possible and challenge other schools to become activists," she said.
