<state w:st="on">Gauteng transport MEC Bheki Nkosi will visit the Rosslyn taxi scrapping site in <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Pretoria on Monday to oversee the scrapping of un-roadworthy taxis.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

It forms part of Transport Month, an annual event launched in 2005.

The program is an initiative between government and various taxi associations.

“The MEC will be introduced and will be able to familiarize himself with the environment where the real scrapping for the recap is taking place,” said Transport’s Kendridge Mthabathe.
