Pretoria gets another Park and Ride facility

A fourth Park and Ride facility was set up in <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><city w:st="on">Pretoria on Sunday ahead of the Confederations Cup match between <country-region w:st="on">Italy</country-region> and <place w:st="on"><country-region w:st="on">Brazil</country-region>.

Roads around Loftus Stadium will be closed to traffic as preparations for the game continue.

Affected roads include University and <street w:st="on"><address w:st="on">Park Road near Hatfield motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

The Tshwane Metro Council’s Console Tleane said more municipal busses will also be available as thousands are expected to flock to the stadium to watch the sold out match.

“The first one is the Fountains Resort, the second is the LC de Villiers Sports Ground which is at the east campus of the University of Pretoria, the third is the Pretoria Sports Union and the fourth is Pretoria Technical High School,” said Tleane.
