A couple has appeared in court on a charge of murdering the woman’s employer.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Sarah Malatji allegedly ordered her boyfriend and two other men to kill Rashida Ahmed.

She was arrested shortly after the murder while her lover was caught earlier this month after a massive manhunt.

Thursday was the first time Joseph Ramaila and Malatji appeared in the dock together.

The case against them was postponed to next month fro further investigation.

Malatji has already confessed to police that she ordered the hit on her employer but during her bail application earlier this year she claimed she was tortured into making the admission.

Ramaila went into hiding when Malatji was arrested.

Police are still hunting for the couple’s alleged accomplices.

Three men robbed and murdered Ahmed in her Laudium home last year after Malatji allegedly gave them instructions and opened the gate to the property.
