Two men suspected of being Nigerian nationals will be appearing in the <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Durban<street w:st="on"><address w:st="on">Magistrates Court on drug charges.

<place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">Durban police found the men in possession of cocaine with a street value of R1m during a random search on Wednesday afternoon.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

The pair was travelling in a car in the <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Durban city center with number plates that did not match when they were arrested.

Police found an estimated R1m worth of cocaine and R270 000 in cash in the boot of the vehicle.

The officers reported that the men offered them a R10 000 bribe.

They will be charged with dealing and possession of drugs and attempting to bribe a police officer and will appear in the Durban Magistrates Court on Thursday.
