A Hong Kong based photographer has lodged a formal complaint with <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><country-region w:st="on">Zimbabwe</country-region>’s Ambassador to <place w:st="on"><country-region w:st="on">China</country-region> against Grace Mugabe for allegedly attacked him while she was shopping with her daughter.

Richard Jones was photographing Grace Mugabe with her daughter Bona while the pair was on a shopping trip in <place w:st="on">Hong Kong earlier this month.

Jones claimed that Grace punched him repeatedly in the face leaving him with bruises and cuts.

<place w:st="on">Hong Kong police were investigating the incident which was supposedly caught on close circuit television cameras outside the popular shopping mall.

The photographer has also laid formal charges of assault against <place w:st="on"><country-region w:st="on">Zimbabwe</country-region>’s first lady who returned home days after the incident occurred.
