The Limpopo Health Department has denied allegations that six people died of cholera last week in Louis Trichardt.

Officials said rumours have indicated that six people have died from the water borne disease and would be buried on Saturday.

However, the Department’s Phuti Seloba said, “It’s a lot of nonsense. When we come out to and say somebody’s died of cholera or any illnesses. We say that only when we have conducted tests and we have the results that has [sic] tested positive.”<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
