African National Congress leader Jacob Zuma has stated that the party’s manifesto would reveal that it has learnt from its time in government.

Zuma made the address at dinner on Friday night ahead of the manifesto launch in <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><place w:st="on">East London on Saturday.

The party leader said, “It’s to demonstrate that we have developed and grown as a party in government. That we understand the challenges of governance and that we have a practical program to address these.”

The speech was made to a select audience of ANC leadership however on Saturday Zuma would be expected to attend a rally at the ABSA Stadium where he would make another address.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
