Relatives of an <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><place w:st="on">East Rand woman who was swept away on New Years Eve said they were confident that her body would be found.

Shadi Kgaladi’s family has told Eyewitness News that she would have been celebrating her 34th birthday on Wednesday.

She and her niece died on New Years Eve after a flash flood in <place w:st="on"><placename w:st="on">Ivory<placetype w:st="on">Park.

Kgaladi’s family said they would not rest until her body was found.

Several family members joined rescue officials as they continued their search for her body.

The search had to be moved back to the spot where Kgaladi was believed to have fallen into the river.

Family members, who had been to a sangoma, told officials that this was where her body would be found.
