While most of Mzansi agreed that police officer Devon Cox was indeed a ‘hot cop’, it appears his superiors did not think so.

You might remember Cox from his uniform mirror selfies that went viral last month.

‘You can arrest me anytime’, ‘please arrest me’, ‘I think I’m guilty’ were just some of the comments left on his social media.

Unfortunately, the SAPS doesn’t seem to have the same sentiments.

According to City Press, he was charged with violating instructions.

Policy states police officers may not share images or videos of themselves in uniform, images of their police weapons, or badges on social media.

Cox reportedly faced a disciplinary hearing and has been prohibited from speaking to the media.
